The operations of the Co-operative have oversight from a Board of Directors which has mandated the Chief Executive Officer to drive a set agenda. The Chief Executive Officer is complemented by several managers, supervisors and staff, amounting to a total staff compliment of approximately 120.

The Co-operative prides itself in employing indigenous, well qualified and competent individuals who align with the ethos of the organisation and are ready to serve the local people selflessly.

The Co-operative believes in recruiting graduates and thus, offering them an opportunity to learn and train professionals who aspire to have an impact in the community. In order to keep employees motivated and build capacity within, the Co-operative believes in ensuring its employees grow vertically and encourages lateral growth in the fields of their expertise. This enables employees acquire a broad range of both skills and capabilities which creates a pool of resource for succession planning.

Training and development of people is a paramount area which the Co-operative deliberately invests in. As a key strategic organisation within the Zambian sector, the Co-operative acknowledges that it can impact the society as a whole, by providing a platform for developing professionals who can render their service for the betterment of the community at large.
