Progress on Display. Partnerships in Action.
On 30 March 2026, Livestock Services Cooperative Society had the privilege of participating as a sponsor and exhibitor alongside the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries at the Annual Delivery Day, hosted by the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU) under the leadership of His Excellency Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, who served as Guest of Honour.
The event provided a national platform for government institutions, private-sector players and other stakeholders to showcase progress, exchange ideas and demonstrate their contribution towards Zambia’s development priorities.
From 09:00 to 16:00 hours, Livestock Services brought its expertise and solutions closer to stakeholders through a shared exhibition stand with the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.
Rather than simply displaying products and information, the team focused on demonstrating the practical value of livestock services.
Dr. Joy Inonge Kaluwe conducted live demonstrations of laboratory equipment, giving visitors an opportunity to see first-hand the science and technical expertise supporting livestock health and productivity.
At the same time, Dr. David Chanda engaged visitors on Artificial Insemination (AI) services, highlighting how improved breeding technologies can support farmers and breeders in achieving better livestock outcomes.
These demonstrations transformed the exhibition space into a platform for learning, interaction and knowledge exchange.
With approximately 2,500 participants attending the event, the exhibition attracted a diverse audience comprising manufacturers, agricultural suppliers, government stakeholders and players from sectors including finance, energy, mining and technology.
The team distributed informational materials while, more importantly, creating opportunities for direct conversations and meaningful engagement with potential partners, clients and industry stakeholders.
This cross-sector interaction strengthened Livestock Services’ visibility while opening opportunities to communicate how livestock services can contribute to broader national priorities, from agricultural productivity and food security to enterprise development and economic growth.
The Annual Delivery Day demonstrated the value of partnership-driven participation.
By standing alongside the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Livestock Services strengthened its role as a practical partner in the livestock sector while using the platform to showcase its technical capabilities and solutions to a broad national audience.
The event generated visibility, stakeholder engagement and knowledge-sharing opportunities, while demonstrating that meaningful progress is achieved when government, private-sector institutions and technical experts work together.
